It’s time to disrupt the systems of oppression that have tried to strip Black and BIPOC women, queer, transgender and/or gender expansive folks of our power and the magic to create.
It’s time to stop placing blame on marginalized people without acknowledgment of the role that systematic racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, xenophobia and other biases and oppressive systems play in diminishing and harming us.
IT ALL STARTS BY IGNITING YOUR FIRE, TAPPING INTO YOUR AGENCY AND RE-WRITING THE NARRATIVE.
It’s tempting to try and fit into the [unjust] systems that run rampant in our world and mask the parts of yourself that you’ve been told are unwanted but…
What if you could stop masking your true nature and find a vibrant source of power within?
What if you could let go of trying to fit in to limiting & biased spaces and choose to stand out on purpose?
What would happen if you allowed yourself to be completely authentic and experience the joy of setting yourself free?
What would happen if we built systems, policies and programs that truly centered Black and BIPOC people, impacted communities and folks with lived experience?
YOU DESERVE BETTER.

HELLO, I’M MONIQUE
I’m a coach, consultant, speaker, and good troublemaker.
As a certified decolonized coach, I hold space for Black and BIPOC women, queer, transgender and/or gender expansive folks to show up differently in the inequitable + indifferent spaces that proclaim to create space for us.
Through my consulting work, I partner with institutions and organizations who truly want to ground their work in, and frame their work around, equity and justice, to move beyond rhetoric, false narratives and aspirations to create the change they are seeking both within their organization and for the people they serve.
And as a speaker, I challenge my audiences to acknowledge the oppressive systems we exist in and adhere to, and boldly encourage them to SHOW UP (IN) JUSTICE, both in and out of their workplace.

The impact my work creates lasts long after any single interaction because it helps Black and BIPOC women, queer, transgender and/or gender expansive folks tap into the tools and confidence to advocate for their most authentic selves, no matter what environment they find themselves in and it helps organizations understand that the work of justice is both internal and external work and requires disruption, discomfort, and structural interventions.
I’ve got you.
Let’s rise together.
Before you can begin to SHOW UP (IN) JUSTICE, you have to learn how to show up for yourself.
